The Najaf PIC signed a MoU with representatives of an Australian company to implement several projects in the Najaf governorate including the establishment of 30,000 housing units in an area of 1,200 acres. The MoU also included the establishment of a date factory in Kufa on a lot of 15 acres, the construction of 5,000 housing units on an area of 270 acres, and the establishment of a cement factory occupying 20 acres.
