The administration of the Cultural Industrial Center, one of the entities related to the Ministry of Industry and minerals, is pleased to announce the investment opportunity of rehabilitating, modernizing and developing the Cultural Industrial Center.

The Center administration is inviting Iraqi, Arab and foreign specialized companies to participate through visiting the center situated in Baghdad/ Baladiyat/ al- Qanat street in front of the Martyr Momentum in order to obtain the investment profile against a non refundable price of 150000 IQ .

Offers should be presented by the end of the work day of the 30^th Apr. 2017.

Offers must be handed as two separated offers (Technical and Financial), and the center administration is ready to organize any field visits or any other facilities required.

An Investment Opportunity in the Industrial Sector

 

 

The Iraqi Cement Company in coordination with the National Investment commission are pleased to announce the investment opportunities for :

• Fallujah White Cement Plant
• Babil Cement Plant
• The Lime Plant in the Holy City of Karbala

We invite specialized Iraqi, Arab and International companies, investors and financers to participate in these investment opportunities to rehabilitate and upgrade these plants, on basis of partnership in management, production and increase of production capacities.

Regarding the needs of these plants productions, the importance of meeting the Iraqi market, the economic feasibility and the privileges achieved to the investor including provision of raw materials at suitable prices.

The investment profile can be obtained from the Iraqi State Cement Company (HQ), at non- refundable price of (150000 I.D) one hundred fifty thousand Iraqi Dinar.

The company is ready to provide detailed information and facilitate the visit to plants.

NIC Chairman and Iraq Permanent Representative in the United Nations Organization meet the Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs

 

NIC Chairman, Dr. Sami Al- Araji and Iraq Permanent Representative in the UN, Ambassador Muhammad Ali Al- Hakeem   met with the Italian Deputy foreign Minister, Mr. Vincenzo Amendola at the Italian Representation Headquarter in the UN / New York 13.02.17. During the meeting the two sides discussed the bilateral relations and the Italian efforts in Iraq.

NIC Chairman stated that Iraq had put Italy within the prioritized list of countries that will participate in the 2018-2023 plan of reforming economy and reinforcing the private sector role, in light of the historical relations between Iraq and Italy. The two sides also discussed some of the issues of mutual interest in the Security Council when Mr. Al- Hakeem expressed the delight in witnessing such a friendly country like Italy as a member in the Security Council. Ambassador Al- Hakeem also showed the gratitude of Iraq for Italy efforts especially in the UNAMI meeting and the support submitted as well as the efforts of maintaining the dam of Mosul and its big participation in protecting and repairing the Iraqi archeological pieces.

Mr. Vincenzo Amendola in his turn assured Italy’s firm obligation support towards Iraq in its war against terrorism, adding that Italy is concerned about the efforts of repairing the archeological pieces because they look at it from a civilization and cultural corner within the Mediterranean area . In respect of the economic reform plan referred to by the Iraqi side , Mr. Amendola said that they will be willing to urge the Italian companies to participate if they find the plan feasible after treating the topic of the Iraqi Budget price calculation.
