First meetings of the committee, that had been formed according to the directives of the Prime Minister on the 19^th of Nov.20 headed by Dr. Hasan Mohammed Abas al- Timimi, Minister of Health and includes in its membership NIC Chairwoman, Suha Dawood Najar, was held on Monday 25.01.2021 at the Ministry of Health premises.

The Committee is in charge of preparing a mechanism to run and operate the new hospitals in Baghdad and other provinces with specifying its affiliation and funding sides.

During the meeting, the committee laid down the essential points to start work and define the nature of tasks required from each member in addition to studying the plan needed to be put after drawing its main lines to run these hospitals taking into consideration the funding side and other issues needed for the work of the committee
