components of the project, provided
that such standards are no less than ‫"اﻟﻤﻮاﺻﻔﺎت واﻟﺘﺼﺎﻣﯿﻢ اﻟﺘﻘﻨﯿﺔ" ﺗﻌﻨﻲ‬
comparable to applicable Iraqi ‫اﻟﻤﻮاﺻﻔﺎت اﻟﺘﻘﻨﯿﺔ واﻟﺘﺼﺎﻣﯿﻢ وﺟﺪاول‬
standards. ‫اﻟﻜﻤﯿﺎت اﻟﺘﻲ ﺳﺘﺴﺘﺨﺪم ﻟﻠﻤﺸﺮوع واﻟﻤﺒﯿّﻨﺔ ﻓﻲ‬
‫اﻟﻤﻠﺤﻖ اﻟﺜﺎﻟﺚ واﻟﺘﻲ واﻓﻘﺖ ﻋﻠﯿﮭﺎ اﻟﺴﻠﻄﺎت‬
“Technical Specifications and ‫ ﺑﻤﺎ‬،‫اﻟﺤﻜﻮﻣﯿﺔ اﻟﻤﺨﺘﺼﺔ وﻗﺒﻠﮭﺎ اﻟﻄﺮف اﻟﺜﺎﻧﻲ‬
Designs” shall mean the technical
specifications, designs and tables of .12‫ﻓﻲ ذﻟﻚ أﯾﺔ ﺗﻌﺪﯾﻼت ﺑﻤﻮﺟﺐ اﻟﻘﺴﻢ‬
the quantities that will be used for
the Project set forth as Annex III, ‫"ﺳﻨﺔ" وﯾﻘﺼﺪ ﺑﮭﺎ اﻟﺴﻨﺔ اﻟﻤﯿﻼدﯾﺔ ﺑﺪ ًء ﺑﺎﻟﯿﻮم‬ .2
and were Approved by the ‫اﻷول ﻣﻦ ﺷﮭﺮ ﻛﺎﻧﻮن اﻟﺜﺎﻧﻲ )ﯾﻨﺎﯾﺮ( وإﻧﺘﮭﺎ ًء‬

“Year” shall mean the Gregorian :‫ ﻣﺎ ﻟﻢ ﯾُﻨ ّﺺ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺧﻼف ذﻟﻚ‬،‫أدﻧﺎه‬
year beginning on the first of
January and ending on the thirty- ‫اﻟﻜﻠﻤﺎت اﻟﻤﻔﺮدة ﺗﺸﻤﻞ اﻟﺠﻤﻊ‬ .‫أ‬

2. Interpretation. This Contract is ‫ﺗﻜﻮن ﻟﻜﺎﻓﺔ اﻟﻌﺒﺎرات ﻏﯿﺮ اﻟﻤﻌﺮﻓﺔ‬ .‫ب‬
interpreted according to the ‫ﻓﻲ ھﺬا اﻟﻌﻘﺪ اﻟﻤﻌﺎﻧﻲ اﻟﻤﺤﺪدة ﻟﮭﺎ ﻓﻲ‬
meanings set forth below, unless ‫ﻣﺠﻤﻊ اﻟﻠﻐﺔ اﻟﻌﺮﺑﯿﺔ ) اذا ﻛﺎن اﻟﻌﻘﺪ‬
