Force Majeure, the period during ،‫وﻛﺬﻟﻚ ﻓﺘﺮة وﺟﻮد ﺣﺎﻟﺔ اﻟﻘﻮة اﻟﻘﺎھﺮة‬
which the Project’s tasks were

shall be extended, as well as the

7. If Force Majeure and its ‫ وﻗﺮر اﻟﻄﺮف اﻟﻤﺘﻀﺮر أﻧﮫ ﻣﻦ ﻏﯿﺮ‬،‫أﻛﺜﺮ‬
consequences continue for a period ‫اﻟﻤﻤﻜﻦ إﺳﺘﺌﻨﺎف إﻟﺘﺰاﻣﺎﺗﮫ ﺑﻤﻮﺟﺐ ھﺬا اﻟﻌﻘﺪ‬
exceeding DAYS days and either ‫ﺿﻤﻦ ﻣﺪة زﻣﻨﯿﺔ ﻣﻌﻘﻮﻟﺔ أو أن إﻛﻤﺎل‬

Contract for that period or longer, ‫ رﻏﺒﺘﮫ ﻓﻲ إﻧﮭﺎء ھﺬا‬،‫أو إذا إﻗﺘﻀﻰ اﻷﻣﺮ‬
and the affected Party has ‫اﻟﻌﻘﺪ ﻛﻠﯿﺎً أو ﺟﺰﺋﯿﺎ أو ﺗﻌﺪﯾﻞ اﺣﻜﺎم اﻟﻌﻘﺪ اﻟﺘﻲ‬
determined that it would not be ‫ﺗﺎﺛﺮت ﺑﺎﻟﻘﻮة اﻟﻘﺎھﺮة ﻋﻠﯿﮫ( ﻧﺘﯿﺠﺔ ﻟﺬﻟﻚ‬
possible to resume its obligations in

a reasonable period of time and that
the Project was hampered or that its ‫إذا إﺳﺘﻤﺮت اﻟﻘﻮة اﻟﻘﺎھﺮة ﻟﻤﺪة ﺗﺰﯾﺪ ﻋﻦ )ﻋﺪد‬
completion was permanently ‫أو‬/‫اﻷﯾﺎم( ﯾﻮﻣﺎً وﻟﻢ ﯾﺘﻤﻜﻦ اﻟﻄﺮف اﻷول و‬
hampered due to the Force Majeure, ‫اﻟﺠﮭﺎت اﻟﺤﻜﻮﻣﯿﺔ اﻟﻤﺨﺘﺼﺔ ﻣﻦ أداء‬
then the First Party shall state its
desire to postpone the execution
and/or the operation of the Project
or, if so required, its desire to
terminate this Contract in whole or
part or to amend the provisions of
the Contract affected by such Force
Majeure. (“Notice of Termination
Due to Force Majeure”).

the First Party and/or Competent
